Five years after releasing S'il suffisait d'aimer, Céline Dion reunited with JeanJacques Goldman for her French-language album, 1 fille & 4 types. This collaboration expanded to include Erick Benzi, Gildas Arzel, and Vénéruso, forming the ensemble referred to in the album's title as "1 girl and 4 guys." The lead single, "Tout l'or des hommes," showcased a folk and country influence. Its music video, inspired by a road trip, was filmed in the Nevada desert during Céline's "A New Day… Live In Las Vegas" residency. Reflecting on this unique collaboration, Céline said: "I would have loved to go on tour with them, with my little suitcase with three t-shirts and a pair of jeans—really do everything I never got to do, something I’ve never done." The album also featured two additional singles, "Et je t'aime encore" and "Contre nature," each accompanied by a music video. 1 fille & 4 types stands as a testament to Céline’s versatility, delivering a cool blend of pop, country, and folk influences that resonate still today.
